These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the smartphone application and related services (the “Service”) provided by Light LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service, you (“User”) agree to these Terms.
1. Scope
- These Terms apply to all relationships between the User and the Company regarding the Service.
- Any guidelines, additional rules, or policies announced by the Company form part of these Terms.
2. Conditions of Use
- The Service is available via Apple’s App Store.
- The Service is free to use, but advertisements are displayed.
- Users may remove ads via an in-app purchase (IAP) offered as a non-consumable, one-time purchase.
- Certain features may be unavailable depending on device/OS/network conditions.
3. Prohibited Conduct
- Violations of laws or public order and morals
- Infringing the rights or interests of the Company or third parties
- Interfering with the operation of the Service or imposing excessive load
- Unauthorized access, reverse engineering, modification, or other abusive technical acts
- Any other acts deemed inappropriate by the Company
4. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to the Company or rightful owners. Users may use the Service only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
5. In-App Purchase and Restore
- Purchase Type: The ad-removal option is a non-consumable purchase and applies continuously once purchased.
- Payment Processing: Payments, billing, and refunds are governed by Apple App Store policies. We do not collect or store credit card information.
- Price & Taxes: Pricing follows the amount shown on the App Store and may vary by region, currency, and store policy. Taxes (e.g., VAT) may apply.
- Restore: After reinstalling or changing devices, sign in with the same Apple ID and tap “Restore Purchases” in-app to regain access at no extra cost.
- Scope: The ad-removal option targets ads displayed within our app UI. Ads on external websites or third-party content are not covered.
- Minors: If you are a minor, obtain legal guardian consent before purchase.
- Refunds: Refund eligibility is subject to Apple’s policies. The Company does not provide individual refunds.
6. Disclaimer
- The Company makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the absence of defects or fitness for a particular purpose.
- The Company is not liable for damages arising from use of the Service, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.
- The Service may be interrupted, delayed, or changed due to networks, devices/OS, store review processes, or third-party services (ads, payments, analytics).
7. Changes, Suspension, Termination
- The Company may change, add, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service without prior notice.
- Even if you purchased the ad-removal option, we do not guarantee continued provision if the app itself is discontinued.
8. Privacy
Handling of personal data and usage information follows our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court with jurisdiction over the Company’s principal office, at first instance.
10. Amendments
- We may amend these Terms when necessary. Changes take effect upon posting within the Service or on our website.
- Material changes will be announced via in-app notices or other reasonable means.
11. Severability
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
12. Exclusion of Anti-Social Forces
The User represents and warrants that they are not an anti-social force and will not provide benefits to such forces. The Company may terminate use without notice upon violation.
